Whats the market ratio for homes that could reasonably house one of them in their living rooms! 

Certainly for gaming your eyes would be 'swimming' around the screen unless you were sitting a good distance back.

Microsoft 3D Builder printing app released for Windows 8.1

I've not had ago on a 3D printer since A levels but prices are really coming down in price now and with some great quality levels. Really thinking about getting one when I have what I consider 'enough' things to make with it!

Microsoft is pushing its own 3D data format (3MF) in Windows 8.1 that addresses the current's (STL) shortcomings -- most notably its lack of support for different colors and materials.

Cinema tech to look out for: IMAX, HFR, 3D, Dolby Atmos

Going to see 'The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey' today in IMAX 3D. I had hoped to also see it with HFR and Dolby Atmos but Kingston Odeon doesn't have all of those technologies combined as of yet. In fact there aren't many cinemas that do just yet!

2013 looks set to add something to cinemas which your home cinema can't reasonable offer with a surround sound systems far beyond what you'd have (or want) in your living room.

Now if only cinema prices would come down a bit.. £28 for two tickets! ( $45.63 USD!!)
