HTC's cringe worthy vendor is hilarious!

Haven't had a HTC since the Windows Mobile days but the hardware isn't bad and the marketing team is obviously having some fun fighting with the other manufacturers for a place in peoples pockets.

Really should be pushing the OS and allow HTC to use the part on Windows Phones for a small cost... maybe even with a slightly higher cost for the part on other OSes..

Opinion on USB 3 micro connector...

Who the hell thought this form factor was a good idea... Thats ridiculous and mobile phone manufactures will hate it! The whole point of them pain painstakingly designing normal sized USB 3 ports into the same form factor was for compatibility. Why they couldn't have miniaturised and split the extra contacts around the edge of the current form factor I don't know...

Update: I wonder if Apple can fit USB3 down the lightening connector. If they pull it off I think other manufactures will be up in arms wanting a smaller form factor for their devices. Circuit board space matters to them!

Engadget review the HTC One X

Getting a bit bored of my iPhone 4S.. Coming from a Windows Phone 7 device (HD7) saw improvements but I missed the size and quality. This has me looking at what's on offer at the moment.

The smartphones I really like the look of at the moment are the Samsung Galaxy note, the nokia Lumia 900 and this HTC:Link
