Skydog Kickstarter. Can't see B Sky B liking the name.

Oh Skydog, did you learn nothing from the Sky wifi pen... this is sniffing even closer to the Sky brand than Sky pen was in my opinion and will likely be forced to change their name in the UK.

This would actually be a good buy for B Sky B if the software aspect is patented.

Update: looking at their coperate website they have a few patents and a small history with the likes of Xerox http://www.powercloudsystems.com/about.php

This Kickstarter project looks awesome!

connect this (or a few) up to some motion sensors and a select the right music and I can imagine some pretty intuitive in home intrusion projection systems.

Got $1000 to spare? want your name in a game?

I've had my name in the credits of a game but I think this might even be cooler! Obsidian is offering people to name a character in their next game which they have gone to kicker starter for due to the pains of publishers.

Check it out:

Update: I also like how they have structured their project with certain goals meaning they will match various criteria ($1.6m for a OS X version and $2.2m for a Linux version). The only thing I have an issue with is that the'd likely be building the game engine from the ground up with the expectation of being multi-platform already. Still its unique and I praise them for it.
