Sammy is making a few patent deals recently.

First Google and now this, looks like their aiming to dodge a fair few future issues and gadget creation becomes more and more of a minefield.

Skydog Kickstarter. Can't see B Sky B liking the name.

Oh Skydog, did you learn nothing from the Sky wifi pen... this is sniffing even closer to the Sky brand than Sky pen was in my opinion and will likely be forced to change their name in the UK.

This would actually be a good buy for B Sky B if the software aspect is patented.

Apple working for Microsoft? (not really)

Why does the MS employee look like an Apple staff member? I know Apple have patented their shop layouts so MS might wanna look out for that...

Everything's now $1 BILLION DOLLARS!

So Microsoft go and buy 800+ patents from AOL for a cool $1bn which although is a lot, probably makes good business sense in today's hostile business climate. Article: here
